Welcome to www.saltnaturopathy.com.au. This website is owned and operated by Salt Naturopathy.
If you have any questions or enquiries, please email sophie@saltnaturopathy.com.au.
Please read this document carefully as it outlines the Terms and Conditions (Ts&Cs) for using this website, booking appointments, and purchasing services or products from Salt Naturopathy. Understanding these terms ensures you know what to expect when working with us.
1. Use of the Site
By using this site, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old.
If you are under 18 years of age, a parent or guardian must read and agree to these Ts&Cs on your behalf.
2. Your Responsibilities
As a client of Salt Naturopathy, you are responsible for:
Attending consultations on time.
Being respectful to our practitioner/staff at all times.
Following instructions provided by your practitioner.
Paying fees when due.
Providing accurate medical and health information.
Updating your practitioner about any changes in health concerns, treatments, or medications.
It is important to acknowledge that naturopathy is a long-term approach to health and may not provide quick results. Our role is to support your long-term well-being by providing education and tools to enhance your health. We ask that you work with us with an open mind and realistic expectations regarding treatment.
Client Intake Forms
Upon booking an initial consultation with Salt Naturopathy, you will receive an Initial Client Intake Form via email. This form must be completed at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. If not completed beforehand, it will need to be filled out during your consultation, reducing your appointment time. Full consultation fees will still apply. Failure to complete the intake form will result in the cancellation of your appointment.
Overseas Clients
If you are based outside of Australia, it is your responsibility to ensure that the products and services ordered can be legally imported and used in your location. We are not responsible for any orders being confiscated or restricted due to local laws.
Refusal of Services
Salt Naturopathy reserves the right to cease providing services if a client fails to comply with these Terms. Aggressive or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated. In such cases, the consultation will end immediately, and full fees will apply.
3. Services
Salt Naturopathy provides online naturopathy consultations and health programs.
Products are supplied through third-party providers such as Vital.ly, Ariya Health, Oborne Health Suppliers, and Natural Script. If you purchase from these suppliers, you agree to comply with their Terms and Conditions.
Code of Conduct
As a naturopathic practitioner operating outside of AHPRA regulations, we adhere to the Australian Code of Conduct for unregistered health practitioners.
4. Bookings and Payment
All bookings are made via Simple Clinic.
Payments made through third-party partners may involve data collection, including your name, credit card details, billing address, and postcode. If you have concerns about this, please contact us to arrange an alternative payment method.
A 100% deposit is required at the time of booking.
The remaining balance is invoiced after your consultation and must be paid within 48 hours.
Failure to pay within this timeframe may result in additional charges and/or suspension of services.
All prices are listed in Australian dollars and are not subject to GST. Prices are subject to change, but any prepaid appointments will not be affected. Discounted rates apply only for the duration of a sale.
5. Cancellation Policy & Late Arrival
Cancelling your appointment will result in forfeiture of your deposit.
Failing to attend your scheduled appointment will result in a 100% cancellation fee.
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. If something outside of your control prevents you from attending, please notify us as soon as possible to discuss alternative options.
Late Arrival
Clients who arrive late will only receive the remaining time of their scheduled session unless previously arranged. The full consultation fee will still apply.
Refunds
We do not offer refunds for services if you change your mind. However, we welcome feedback and will work with you to resolve any concerns.
For product-related issues (e.g., incorrect, broken, or missing items), please contact the supplier directly, as these are not our responsibility.
6. Confidentiality
All client information, including personal and health-related data, is kept confidential and will not be shared without prior consent, except as required by law or for professional consultation purposes. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.
7. Content Disclaimer
All content on this website and our social media is for educational purposes only. While we aim to provide accurate and well-researched information, this should not replace tailored professional advice.
We do not assume duty of care outside of one-on-one consultations. If you notice any inaccuracies in our content, please let us know so we can make corrections.
8. Health & Liability
Naturopathy may not be suitable for everyone. Please consult with a medical professional before beginning treatment.
Our services do not replace medical diagnosis or treatment.
We are not liable for any damages, loss, or injury resulting from the use of our services.
If you have a medical condition, seek immediate attention from a doctor.
Allergies & Reactions
Salt Naturopathy is not responsible for allergic or adverse reactions to prescribed products. Some products may contain allergens or ingredients contraindicated for certain conditions (e.g., pregnancy).
Clients must review product ingredients before purchasing. If a reaction occurs, discontinue use and contact us immediately. Refunds or exchanges will not be provided for allergic or adverse reactions.
9. Indemnity
Salt Naturopathy is committed to providing high-quality services, but mistakes can happen. If you have concerns, please contact us directly.
We are not liable for any loss or damage unless directly caused by our negligence. You are responsible for your own health decisions and actions, even if based on our recommendations.
10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
Any disputes arising from these Terms are subject to Australian law.
If an issue arises, we expect all parties to communicate respectfully and seek resolution through negotiation. Public complaints or discussions are discouraged.
